1. When should I take BCAAs?
Any time! We suggest 2 to 3 scoops per day. They can be taken in the morning as a coffee replacement, pre/post-workout, mid-afternoon to blunt cravings and fatigue, and any time cravings strike. Lots of ladies enjoy adding 1/2 to 1 scoop to a giant water bottle and sipping all day.
2. Will Momsanity BCAAs go "bad" if I mix them up in advance?
Nope. You may need to remix as they can settle, but they will not go bad.
3. What if I am pregnant/breastfeeding?
This is one to discuss with your doctor, but many pregnant and breastfeeding women have used our BCAAs (self included) and find that they help with both energy and hydration. Because there are no artificial ingredients and BCAAs are ESSENTIAL amino acids, many women find them a great choice.
4. Can I give them to my kids?
Talk to your pediatrician. Personally I allow my son 1/2 serving several times per week. He loves the flavor of "BCAA juice" and honestly I am much more confident in sharing our product than commercial "juice" or sports drinks.
5. Do BCAAs affect sleep?
Some women report that they have trouble sleeping if sipping BCAAs close to bed time. Others find no negative effect. Trial and error :)
6. Which ingredients should I avoid?
Sucralose, Saccharin, Nutra-Sweet, artificial colors, artificial flavors, preservatives, thickeners, and much more....
7. How much water can I use?
As much or as little as you desire. There is no "right" amount of water.
